How to use Ephnic Movie Maker for Mac

Ephnic Movie Maker for Mac is an easy to use yet powerful movie making software on Mac (Mac OS 10.8 supported). Download Movie Maker for Mac and launch it first. Its intuitive user interface will guide you do your work step-by-step.

Step 1: Add photos and videos into Ephnic Movie Maker for Mac

Simply drag-n-drag your favorite photos and videos to timeline. You are able to add multiple files at the same time. Theme and Transition effects will be pre-set for photos and videos automatically. You may customize the effects as you like later.

Step 2: Add background music and subtitles for your movies

Select the soundtracks to match your movies as background music. You may add as many soundtracks as you want. If you’d like to add some subtitles for your home movies, just drag-n-drop the style you like from ‘Subtitle’ tab. There are nearly 50 kinds of subtitles available for you to choose.

Step 3: Customize the transitions for your home movies

There are two types under ‘effect’ tab: theme & transition. Transition is the effect between two slides showing how the next slide replace the current one and Theme effect is made with a mixture of some transitions & ken-burns effect with various background, like Photo Book, Photo Wall, etc. Transition can be used to join two slides and themes is usually used to join 7 or more slides. You may choose what you like for your home movies.

Step 4: Preview and publish your home movies

Before publishing your movies, you may preview it to see what it looks like. Go back to previous steps to modify your home movies if you don’t like it. And then publish to video on local disk, upload to YouTube/Facebook or export to iTunes.
